Lateral chain tensioning prevents hands from coming into contact with the sharp chain and the tips of the claw stop. It also ensures safe and easy chain tensioning. The integrated direction guide on the sprocket cover makes it easier to monitor your direction when positioning and sawing. A captive nut means no risk that the nut will be lost. Lateral chip ejection also reduces the risk of clogging.

Ergonomic quick adjustment

This allows the weight distribution and load to be optimally adjusted by the operator when working with the belt and RTS harness. The comfortable handle tube ensures you have a firm grip over the entire gripping area, while the STIHL harness makes your work easier, especially in extended use. Our harnesses offer ample freedom of movement when using the tool. Each model comes with a matching STIHL harness as standard.
